The Giants Of Labrador

“The Giants of Labrador” is an artistic expedition project led by the collective Les Macronautes, aimed at exploring and documenting the majestic icebergs and whales along the coast of Labrador. In 2021, the team sailed from Sept-Îles to Battle Harbour, Labrador, immersing themselves in these landscapes, training in navigation, and experimenting with new filming techniques.

The artistic works resulting from these expeditions—photography, illustrations, films, and multimedia creations—raise public awareness of the beauty and fragility of the St. Lawrence River, as well as its crucial role in the global climate.
