The School-Family-Community (SFC) Project in Saint-Léonard is a series of five short documentary videos highlighting a unique support model that strengthens connections between families, schools, community organizations, and the healthcare network.

Through the testimonies of frontline workers, institutional partners, and supported families, the series explores the origins of the project, the essential role of SFC agents, and the tangible impact of their work on educational success, family integration, and community cohesion.

These videos also give a voice to the women and men who, every day, build bridges between different sectors to help families navigate available services, access the resources they need, and find their place within their community.

The series also sheds light on the challenges surrounding the project’s long-term sustainability and the importance of maintaining this local support service, which has become an essential resource for hundreds of families in Saint-Léonard over the years.

This project was produced by Concertation Saint-Léonard, in collaboration with Centraide of Greater Montreal and local community partners, and directed by Valentin Proult.
